Lorenzo Melo is a third-year Honours Commerce student and currently serves as the Vice-President of Academic Affairs for the DeGroote Commerce Society. He is deeply passionate about professional development, mentorship, and creating meaningful educational opportunities for students.

With a strong interest in accounting and finance, Lorenzo was previously involved in ELITESEAT, and continues to contribute to the DeGroote community through his involvement with the McMaster Chapter of Investa Insights. In his role, Lorenzo acts as the primary liaison between faculty members and the student body. He leads and organizes key initiatives throughout the year, including the DCS Annual General Meetings, wellness events, and various networking and career-focused events.

Lorenzo is committed to continuously improving the student experience at DeGroote and remains dedicated to supporting meaningful student engagement and fostering academic achievements.
