Simrah Khan is a first-year IBH student who contributes to the DeGroote community through her role on the DeGroote Commerce Society’s First Year Council. In this position, she supports first-year engagement, collaborates on student-led initiatives, and helps represent her cohort within DCS. Her participation in DCS allows her to explore different areas of student leadership through the rotational program, giving her hands-on experience across multiple portfolios and plan events to foster community amongst first-years. With a strong interest in community building and social impact, Simrah is committed to strengthening the student experience and creating meaningful opportunities for her peers.
