Safiya is a DeGroote Commerce student and dedicated member of the DCS Advocacy portfolio, currently serving as an Operations Officer. In this role, she helps plan and execute events that amplify student voices, promote equity, and strengthen the DeGroote community. Passionate about making a positive impact, Safiya is committed to creating inclusive spaces where students feel supported, heard, and engaged.

Beyond DCS, she represents DeGroote as an International Business delegate for JDCC, where she will be competing in January. Through case competitions and advocacy work, Safiya continues to grow her passion for collaboration and change-making within our faculty.
