Wonu’s journey in DeGroote began as one of the founders of DeGroote Black in Business and as VP of External in her first year. Last year she was on the DCS Executive team as VP of Human Resources and now is very excited to be president of the DCS this year. Wonu’s goal this year is to bring the TEA to DeGroote – Transparency, Engagement & Collaboration, and Accessibility. She hopes to foster collaboration among our clubs and committees through collaborative events, increased resources, and greater transparency across the DCS. Additionally, she is committed to boosting overall student involvement and reducing barriers to entry into student clubs. Wonu is enthusiastic and passionate about creating great experiences for all DeGroote students, ensuring that the DCS can meet its overall vision of supporting and serving the DeGroote community.
