Mylene Prior is a third-year student in the Integrated Business and Humanities Program. In her role as Financial Operations in the Advocacy portfolio of the DeGroote Commerce society she plans and budgets for major advocacy events, manages external communications to sponsors and community organizations, and manages the EDI fund. Mylene uses her skills in finance and operations to help facilitate events and initiatives that align with her passion for Advocacy and community. She is also the Vice President of Finance for the DeGroote Pride Association. In this role Mylene budgets for events, supports planning and executing them and tracks expenses. This role allows her to help build a network of students and industry professionals and bring more inclusivity to the DeGroote community.
